Directorate General-NCC wins the 28th Nehru Hockey Junior Girls Tournament!

10th October 2022, Delhi: 28th Nehru Junior Girls Hocky Tournament has been going on for around 10 days and has come to its Conclusion Day and Directorate General-NCC won this years tournament by beating MP State Women Hockey Academy, Gwalior by 6-0.  

Best Player of the match went to Tamanna Yadav of DG, NCC and recieved the FLASH Hockey Stick. Directorate General-NCC took the trophy with the cash price of Rs 1.6 lacs which will be shared by the players of the team. Coach of the team, Ms Pritam Siwach got Rs 15 thousand for taking the team to the trophy. Sakshi Rana won the Best Player of the tournament, receiving Rs 25 thousand as a cash reward.

MPHA, Gwalior won the Runners-Up trophy and cash prize of Rs 96 thousand. Coach Ms Neha Rawat recieved Rs10 thousand for taking the team to this level. Lallengvunga High School won the Fair Play Trophy and was presented by the trophy and cash prize of Rs 20 thousand by Sh. Gurudev Singh S/O Late S. Jasdev Singh. Other team staff also recieved individual prizes taking the total tally to Rs 3.6 lacs.

Padamshree Dr Dilip Tirke, President, Hockey India will preside the finals with other esteemed dignitaries of the Nehru Hockey Society. Sh. Kukkoo Walia, Secretary General of JNHT Society addressed the audience and concluded the event with the Note of Thanks!
